Q&A: How Do I Shape My Vowels to Sing With Ease and Resonance?
One of the reasons I started recording teaching videos was to help singers with any specific questions they might have about technique, health or performance – anything I know, you deserve to know too! So I asked if anyone had any questions they’d love answered in video format on the Inspired to Sing Facebook page and Matthew said he wanted the down-low on vowels.
In this video I show you one of the best exercises to ensure that all of your vowels are projecting clearly and easily and a trick I learned from Melissa Cross about how to think about where you’re “placing” your vowels.
Members, I am currently recording you another exercise to help you create a smooth transition between your vowels and work on your support and control. Keep your eyes peeled!
